Angle of attack (AOA) sensors are some of the most important safety parts of the aircraft. They must be protected very well. That’s why, today we’re going to present you our cover for angel of attack sensors of the aircraft.
What is angle of attack sensor?
AOA indicators provide a visual representation of how much lift is being generated by your wings for a given airspeed. This is incredibly useful because speed alone is not a reliable parameter to avoid a stall. That’s because airplanes can stall at any speed, as long as they exceed their critical angle-of-attack.
AOA could be determined by signals provided via these sensors. They measure the current AOA of the aircraft in comparison to the aircraft’s critical AOA.
How many aircraft sensors Airbus has?
Airbus aircraft require three AOA sensors because they’re considered safety critical. So you need at least three of our AOA covers to protect the sensors.
